Plan ahead and circle July 29 on the calendar to load up the lucky clubs for a day on the green, all while supporting Wisconsin soybean farmers.

The Wisconsin Soybean Association (WSA) is teaming up with Clean Fuels Alliance America to host the Evansville event.

“We are excited to continue promoting the Clean Fuels Soybean Classic by extending the registration and sponsorship deadlines for our inaugural event. We hope to get even more golfers added to the roster to support our Wisconsin growers,” said Adam Kask, executive director of the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board (WSMB), a sponsor of the event.

Teams now have until Friday, July 26 to register for the event, which will take place at the Evansville Golf Course in Evansville. Sponsorship opportunities will remain available until Monday, July 15.

The cost to participate is $100 per person, or $400 for a 4-person team, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, meal and drink tickets. The event begins with registration at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon.

WSA is a farmer-led advocacy organization that works on behalf of the interests of Wisconsin’s nearly 17,000 soybean farmers in Madison and Washington, D.C. All proceeds from this event benefit WSA and its advocacy efforts.

“WSA is proud to partner with Clean Fuels Alliance America for this fundraiser,” said WSA Vice President Doug Rebout. “Together, we stand in supporting biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel as a way to reduce our carbon footprint and support Wisconsin’s soybean farmers.”

Clean Fuels Alliance America works to support sustainable biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel industry growth and serves as the industry’s central coordinating entity for technical, environmental and quality assurance programs, along with the strongest voice for its advocacy, communications and market development.
