This week, WSA joined numerous state soybean associations and stakeholder groups in submitting comments to the EPA in support of cyclobutrifluram (TYMIRIUM), an important new product for controlling Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN) and Soybean Death Syndrome (SDS).
“SCN is the No. 1 yield-damaging pest in soybeans throughout Wisconsin and the country; about 25% of the soybean fields in Wisconsin are infested with SCN,” WSA President Doug Rebout wrote. “We are confident that (this) technology will be a convenient and effective seed-applied management tool for Wisconsin’s nearly 17,000 soybean farmers.”
