This UW-Extension website offers the latest soybean research and information for growers. Plus, sign up for the CoolBean.info Listserv to receive up ¬to¬ date information related to Midwest soybean and small grains production.

Badger CropDoc

The Wisconsin Field Crops Pathology website provides growers with recent research-based information on diseases and pests of Wisconsin’s field crops. You will find reports, pictures and videos on a variety of soybean health topics.

WSMB Sponsors Free Nematode Testing

To help growers stay ahead of the most important nematode pest of soybean crop, the soybean cyst nematode (SCN), WSMB is sponsoring free soybean cyst sampling. For a free sample test kit, 608.262.1390 or e¬mail freescntest@mailplus.wisc.edu. (To learn more about SCN, read the SCN brochure).

United Soybean Board

The United Soybean Board is comprised of 62 farmer¬ directors representing soybean¬ producing states and appointed by the secretary of agriculture. The checkoff conducts research for the expanded use of soybeans and soybean products. In addition, USB implements promotional and informational programs that help growers and build demand.

North Central Soybean Research Program

The Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board leverages resources through regional initiatives such as the North Central Soybean Research Program (NCSRP). This program coordinates soybean production research efforts on a regional level to make the most of every research effort. NCSRP is comprised of the state soybean checkoff boards in Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
